Hair Update!

I know, I know, I know, I've not posted in a really long time and the only thing I can tell you guys is that things have been a bit hectic, but in a good way. I've been going out on auditions, got a new agent, doing some new classes and other life stuff which has led me to be neglectful of my blog. I am back and will try to do regular posts because during this time I have come across new oils, new face products and a whole bunch of beauty stuff I'd love to share! But on to the subject of this post. I've decided I'm going to see how long I can go before my next latching, I'm trying to go as long as six months. Reason being because I like the volume I get from my new growth, my root bed looks strong and healthy, my locs look strong and healthy and I've never been one for having my edges all done and scalp showing.  Now I do like a manicured look for myself, to a degree, but where I currently am is my definition of that. So until it starts visually bothering me or I can see I need to do a re-ti for the sake of my locs, I'm gonna just wait until around May or June ( my last re-ti was in Dec.). I guess I'm moving into the land of semi-freeforming LOL!
Cheers!!

  1. I'm moving towards semi free forming myself, though I think I will have to wait until my locs mature a bit more...
I just wrote about that myself: chinkykinky.blogspot.com

Good luck with the new agent and all the classes. Don't overload yourself!

  2. I think that you can start semi free forming at anytime. When I used to twist, I would only twist once a month and then I switched to interlocking. Thanks for the well wishes and I will check out your blog:)

  3. Great to see you posting again. I am one of your readers. Hope life continues to work out for you with your career. Change is always good, even when we do not think so, lol.

Do you have a you tube channel where we could see you perform a dramatic or humorous reading?

I also do not like so much of my scalp showing, I started stretching out the time between re-twisting about 6 months in my journey.

This year I have only re-twisted once. no longer use the clips to hold hair in place. Freedom!
